The Community Council gives you an opportunity to make your feelings known about local issues concerning the provision of local authority services such as planning, policing and so on.

It's your community, it's all about where you live and the Community Council is stronger with your support.

If you want to know more about local issues and how decisions are made by your local authority, the Community Council is a good place to start.

Community Council Meetings

Westhill Community Council meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month in the community lounge at Cradlehall Primary School at 7.15pm.

You are welcome to attend!

from June our meetings will move to the second Wednesday of every month at 7.15pm,

next meeting Wed 14^th March 2012 at a start time of 7.15pm

Please note that meetings are not held during the months of July and August.

The proposals for vehicle access to the new UHI Campus have now been submitted to the Highland Council for consideration.

Whilst the Community Council supports the project as a whole, we are concerned at the lack of attention being paid to vehicle access to the Campus. We consider the current proposals to be inadequate and to have potential to cause significant disruption to the daily lives of Westhill residents.

UHI Campus Road Access Proposals

Westhill Community Council has concerns about the nature of the access proposals to the new UHI Campus.

The existing proposals appear to offer nothing more than an addition to the already heavy weight of traffic which flows through the A9 spur onto the B9006 at peak times.
